$40m research-industry grants for international collaboration

The UNSW RNA Institute welcomes the announcement by the Federal Government this morning to invest $40m into growing Australia’s global presence in science, with RNA vaccines and therapies as a focus area.

As one of Australia’s leading RNA research and production hubs, we’re excited by the opportunity to kick-start collaborative projects across Asia-Pacific through the networks developed in our outreach program.

Most recently, we’ve established an MOU with Indonesia’s BRIN and Etana, a Malaysian university, given advise to the New Zealand RNA Platform leadership team, hosted and visited Singaporean research and government organisations, and we’re participating in an upcoming mission to Brazil.

Visit this website for more information on the Global Science and Technology Diplomacy Fund. Applications open on 20 March 2024 and close on 31 May 2024.
